These cologne recipes have been tried and tested by both men and women and have all been unanimously given two thumbs up. Feel free to switch up the oils to make your own personal blend.
These cologne recipes are approximately 20 percent oil and 80 percent carrier oil based. If you want a stronger scent, you can make it a 30:70 ratio. The cologne recipes below are for a 10 mL bottle.
Earthy Spice
What you need:
- 10 drops Clove oil
- 20 drops White Fir oil
- 40 drops Bergamot oil
- 5 drops Lemon oil
- doTERRA Fractionated Coconut Oil
Tip: A dropper may be helpful in order for you to get the exact amount.
Method:
- Place all essential oils in empty 10 mL roll-on bottle
- Add Fractionated Coconut Oil to fill remainder of bottle.
- Attach roll-on cap and shake until combined.
- Let mixture sit for 24 hours before use.
- Apply cologne to wrists for best results.
Tip: To see if you like the scent, make a small sample first. If you like it, make a larger batch. You can always add more oils to the mixture later.

- 36 drops Cinnamon Bark oil
- 12 drops Cassia oil
- 12 drops Peppermint oil

Fresh Cut Grass:
- 12 drops Basil oil
- 6 drops White Fir oil
- 13 drops Wild Orange oil
- 13 drops Bergamot oil
- 26 drops Citrus Bliss®

Woodsy Black Licorice:
- 8 drops Fennel oil
- 8 drops Cypress oil
- 8 drops Wild Orange oil
- 32 drops Sandalwood oil
- 8 drops Lime oil
- 8 drops Wintergreen oil
- doTERRA Fractionated Coconut Oil
Sweet Musk:
- 32 drops Lime oil
- 24 drops Fennel oil
- 16 drops Patchouli oil
- doTERRA Fractionated Coconut Oil
Musky Cinnamon:
- 28 drops Cinnamon Bark oil
- 12 drops Rosemary oil
- 12 drops Wild Orange oil
